Job Responsibility

Verifies conformance of parts to detailed drawings
Verifies alignment and tolerances of moving parts
Tests operation of assembly by hand
Assembles, sets up, and operates machine to verify functioning, machine capabilities, and conformance to customer's specifications
Support operations by designing and building parts, equipment, weld tooling, gauges, fixtures, etc.
Troubleshoot and repair tooling, gauges, fixtures, etc.
Communicate with management, engineers, technicians, and production personnel
Direct and/or participate in lean manufacturing projects for improvement in quality, cost and delivery
Sharpening of drill bits and other perishable tooling to support production needs
Responsible for inventory of perishable tooling
