Lead the hire department in a large branch as part of the branch leadership team, working alongside an experienced Branch Manager to ensure quality service to customers.
Job Responsibility:
Develop a sales action plan to achieve and exceed agreed AOP
Supervise and coordinate colleagues in the Tool Hire department
Undertake managerial duties to ensure effective utilisation of resources
Oversee maintenance of plant and tools within health and safety requirements
Balance stock levels to meet demand
Train, supervise, and motivate the Hire team
Handle customer queries and upsell to boost sales
Conduct daily toolbox talks and maintain effective communication
Requirements:
Experience in tool hire, plant hire, or a leadership role
Sales or customer service experience
Leadership skills
Safety-focused mindset
Proactive attitude in a fast-paced environment
