Full‑time Tiler position available with competitive salary. Work in a dynamic team in Thornleigh, NSW 2120 with Australia’s most experienced swimming pool builder. Crystal Pools Pty Ltd is an Australia’s longest operating and most experienced inground concrete swimming pool builder, delivering quality residential and commercial pools across Greater Sydney since 1957. As a Tiler at Crystal Pools, you will help deliver exceptional pool finishes and tiling work across residential and commercial pool projects. This position requires strong attention to detail, good technical tiling skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a skilled trades team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and set out tiling surfaces for pool interiors, surrounds, and waterline areas in accordance with company and industry standards
  • Accurately measure, cut and install tiles ensuring correct alignment, spacing, and finish quality
  • Apply waterproofing membranes and substrates as required prior to tiling to meet project specifications
  • Select and mix adhesives, grouts and sealants appropriate for pool environments and specific materials
  • Inspect tiled areas for quality, correct any imperfections, and ensure compliance with safety and workmanship standards
  • Work closely with supervisors and other trades (plasterers, concreters, waterproofers) to coordinate workflow and meet project milestones
  • Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean, safe and organised manner
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety policies, including safe handling of materials and use of protective equipment

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience as a tiler or in a closely related trade
  • Strong understanding of tiling systems, waterproofing and substrate preparation
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high‑quality finishes
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to follow instructions, read plans and interpret technical specifications
