Job Description:

The role focuses on ensuring third-party compliance with IKEA's standards and frameworks, including IWAY. It involves managing third-party reviews, reporting compliance results, and providing guidance on risk management while fostering a compliance-oriented culture.

Job Responsibility:

Verify third party compliance, including the IWAY standard, and including own adherence to the third-party risk and control frameworks in a business-oriented and consistent way across the supply chain
Provide input to the annual compliance plan with local knowledge and information pertaining to third party Reviews to provide appropriate coverage
Facilitate and perform third party reviews and initial assessments of identified vendors/suppliers to Ingka Group according to the annual compliance plan to verify compliance with IKEA standards, including IWAY
Responsible for reporting of the results to key stakeholders and management so appropriate action can be taken
Support the compliance review process for Ingka Group’s own adherence to third party risk and control frameworks, including reporting of the results to key stakeholders and management to ensure compliance
Conduct Risk-based follow-up on gaps/weaknesses identified within the reviews, including providing expertise on improvement opportunities to maximize positive impacts on our business along with the environment and society at large
Provide assistance and guidance to group functions and countries on successful adherence to internal third-party risk and control frameworks to allow for better understanding of the process within IKEA
Support and implement standardized and automated ways of working with the aim to create efficiency and alignment throughout IKEA
Lead and inspire a risk and compliance performance mind-set, raise risk awareness, and promote a risk culture, thereby supporting growth and maximization of business value
Sharing of knowledge and best practices to contribute to continuous development

Requirements:

Ability to build and maintains a system of business connection – networking
A common-sense approach to objective decision-making based on a clear analysis of the information available
Thorough understanding of third party legislative and regulatory systems across IKEA global footprint
Extensive understanding of IKEA third party risk and control frameworks, including IWAY standard
Comprehensive knowledge of third-party compliance review processes and ability to evaluate effectively
Ability to perform work with care, accuracy, and attention to detail
Ability to act honestly in accordance with moral and ethical principles
Capable to deal with ambiguity and comfortably handle unclear or unpredictable situations
Strong communication skills in English and at least one of regional languages – Czech, Hungarian or Slovak, both spoken and written
Willingness to travel around our region to meet our suppliers and business stakeholders
