Job Description:

Therapeutic Learning Assistant supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and social-emotional challenges through imaginative, therapeutic approaches in a primary school setting.

Job Responsibility:

Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils with Autism, SLCN, and emotional regulation needs
Use drama, music, art, or play to support therapeutic and learning goals
Contribute to a compassionate, inclusive learning environment
Collaborate closely with staff and therapists on targeted support plans

Requirements:

Degree in Art, Drama, Music, Psychology, Education, or related discipline
Passionate about child development and creative therapeutic approaches
Emotionally attuned, patient, and highly engaging
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have:

Experience working with children or vulnerable groups
