Job Responsibility:
Performing API testing using ReadyAPI and executing automated UI and regression tests in Java with Selenium
Working with Apache Kafka and the ELK stack for monitoring, configuration, and validation of data pipelines and application logs
Testing Docker-based applications, managing containerized environments using Docker Swarm
Handling certificate management, including CSR generation, coordination with security teams for signing, and updating configurations post-renewal
Managing Oracle WebLogic servers, including restarts, monitoring datasources, and message tracking
Administering user management in test environments: processing access requests, creating test users, and configuring permissions
Configuring and maintaining test tools for functional and non-functional testing (performance, usability)
Executing and managing automated test suites, including Citrus for integration testing and ReadyAPI for end-to-end API testing
Investigating failed test cases, performing root cause analysis, and documenting findings
Using SQL extensively for backend validation and data verification
Operating in Linux environments for test setup, execution, and troubleshooting
Testing applications that interact with Docker containers and Kubernetes pods
Utilizing Maven for managing and executing test projects
Using Jira for tracking test cases, reporting issues, and managing tasks
Providing daily status updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment
Creating and delivering Qualification Test Reports at the end of each test campaign to summarize results and recommendations
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in automated testing using tools like Selenium, ReadyAPI, and Citrus
Solid understanding of API testing, integration testing, and regression testing
Hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Swarm, and Kubernetes environments
Familiarity with Apache Kafka, ELK stack, and Linux-based systems
Experience with certificate management and Oracle WebLogic server administration
Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing
Knowledge of test management tools such as Jira and build tools like Maven
Ability to analyze test failures, identify root causes, and communicate findings effectively
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting test results and reports
Excellent communication skills for providing updates and collaborating with cross-functional teams
A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities
Excellent command of both spoken and written English
