Applerouth Education is a group of passionate educators who believe that students are more than a score. We’re looking for driven, empathetic tutors to join our team and support students through customized, one-on-one instruction for the SAT, ACT, and academic subjects. Our tutors enjoy autonomy, consistent support, and ongoing paid training. This flexible, part-time role is ideal for those who want to make a meaningful impact while maintaining control over their schedule.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver one-on-one tutoring in SAT/ACT prep and/or academic subjects, primarily in-person, but there may be online tutoring opportunities
  • Tailor each lesson to match the student’s individual goals and learning style
  • Review mock test results and adjust lesson plans accordingly
  • Communicate clearly with students, families, and Applerouth team members
  • Submit session reports, scheduling updates, and progress notes promptly
  • Maintain a consistent weekly tutoring schedule based on student availability
  • Participate in paid training and professional development workshops
  • Uphold Applerouth’s mission to build better learners for life

Requirements:

  • At least one year of college completed
  • Reliable internet connection (for online trainings/meetings/sessions) and reliable transportation (for in-person sessions)
  • Passing score on our short pre-interview SAT/ACT content quiz
  • Availability to tutor during after-school hours and weekends
  • Strong academic background and content mastery in tutoring subjects
  • Passion for helping students succeed and confidence in your ability to mentor others
  • Willingness to complete Applerouth’s paid training program and participate in mock testing
