As a Test Engineer intern working in the copper and powered fiber systems division, you will be responsible for assisting with the development of new copper and powered fiber power delivery and communication platforms as part of the Broadband Building and Campus division. You will work closely with teams that develop passive and active communication devices.
Job Responsibility:
Assisting with testing and test protocol development
Developing training guides and supporting documentation for existing products
Contributing to discussions that help steer the direction of product development
Requirements:
Actively pursuing a bachelor’s (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics from an accredited university
Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0
Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship
Nice to have:
Some proficiency in LabVIEW or MATLAB
Demonstrate strong work ethic and curiosity
Can function in an informally structured R&D environment where creativity and technical understanding feed the product development process
