Test Automation Engineer

• Lead end-to-end quality assurance by designing scalable automation frameworks, developing comprehensive test strategies and scripts, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and delivering clear reporting, and actively participating in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure high-quality deliverables, drive process improvements, troubleshoot issues with strong analytical skills, and continuously adopt best practices and modern testing tools

• 3–5 years of strong experience across STLC
• Expertise in WebdriverIO (WDIO)—mandatory
• Hands-on experience with Playwright (preferred)
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript—mandatory
• Working knowledge of TypeScript and Python—added advantage
• Experience with BDD frameworks (Jasmine)
• Familiarity with API testing concepts and tools
• Exposure to performance testing using JMeter
• Strong experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipeline management with hands-on expertise in GitHub, GitLab, GitHub Actions, NPM, and exposure to Azure DevOps and AWS
• Proficient in Jira for test management and defect tracking, with working knowledge of Jenkins and Docker as added advantages
• Experience working in VDI-based enterprise environments (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure – VDI) with remote server management and secure enterprise access setups
• Ability to manage test execution environments in distributed or enterprise setups
• Experience working with US-based clients in a distributed team model
• Self-driven and capable of independently learning and delivering solutions
• Strong communication skills with a professional and positive attitude
• Should be able to work during overlapping hours or weekend support if required
