Our client, a confidential Boston-based tech company, is seeking a temporary administrative assistant to support senior executives. The contract runs through June to provide maternity leave coverage and offers an hourly pay rate of $30. There is an onsite expectation of three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and one additional day of choice) and remote work the remaining two days. Hours are 8:30 AM-5:00 PM.
Job Responsibility:
Provide direct administrative support to senior executives, including heavy calendar management, scheduling, and meeting coordination
Manage expense reports, reconcile receipts, and ensure timely processing
Coordinate domestic and occasional international travel and prepare detailed itineraries
Act as a professional and discreet liaison for internal and external stakeholders
Anticipate executive needs and proactively resolve scheduling or logistical conflicts
Assist with presentations, reports, and general administrative materials
Partner with the current assistant during the transition and training period
Support event planning and logistics as needed
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience supporting executives in a corporate environment, ideally within the tech industry
Strong calendar management, expense processing, and organizational skills
High level of reliability, commitment, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and related tools
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
