Telecommunications Technician

• Installing, testing, and commissioning DAS, Nextivity equipment, and BTS across large-scale infrastructure and commercial sites
• Conducting sweep testing, performance optimisation, and fault diagnosis of cabling, antennas, and telecommunications systems using specialised instruments
• Installing and maintaining structured cabling systems (UTP for voice and data) in line with technical specifications
• Interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and site layouts to determine positioning and connections for telecommunications equipment
• Installing and maintaining aerial and underground cabling networks, including mobile phone antenna systems
• Joining, terminating, and sealing cables, and repairing or replacing defective components with subsequent testing
• Carrying out installation and upgrade works on telecommunications infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity

• Degree or diploma in Telecommunications or related field
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance
• Proven ability in DAS, Nextivity, and BTS installation and commissioning
• Skilled in structured cabling, antenna optimisation, and system testing
• Strong troubleshooting ability using specialised telecommunications instruments
• Effective communication skills and ability to work within a project team
