We are looking for a Technology Solutions Architect to join our Central Support Technology team, reporting into the Head of Technology Solutions. Sitting at the heart of our bids, service design, and solution delivery activity, In this role you will be responsible for shaping technology solutions that meet customer requirements and support successful contracts and operational performance. You will work closely with customers, internal teams, and external MSPs to define coherent, deliverable solutions that bring together people, process, technology, and services.
Job Responsibility:
Leading the development of end‑to‑end technology solutions for bids, proposals, and internal initiatives
Understanding customer requirements, operational challenges, and business processes to shape appropriate solutions
Creating and maintaining solution artefacts such as service models, process flows, operating models, and specifications
Working with MSPs and internal technical teams to ensure technical components are deliverable and aligned
Providing solution leadership during bid development, including tender interpretation and proposal content creation
Supporting customer workshops, presentations, and clarification sessions to articulate solution designs
Collaborating across bid, commercial, service, and SME teams to develop aligned, value‑driven solutions
Ensuring solutions meet governance, compliance, regulatory and commercial requirements, including risk management
Overseeing mobilisation and transition activities to ensure delivery aligns with the agreed solution
Requirements:
Significant experience in solution design, business architecture, service design, or a related role
Strong understanding of business processes, service delivery models, and operational design
Experience developing solutions for bids, tenders, or contract‑based environments
Ability to translate customer requirements into coherent, deliverable solution designs
Experience working with outsourced IT providers or multi‑supplier delivery models
Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
Able to work in the UK without the requirement of sponsorship
Nice to have:
Experience in public‑sector or regulated service environments
Knowledge of ITIL or business analysis methodologies
Understanding of data protection, information governance, and compliance requirements
Experience supporting service transition and operational mobilisation
