Job Description:

Citi's Rates Risk Technology team in Warsaw, Poland, is looking for an experienced and driven individual to play a key role in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge risk management solutions. This role focuses on delivering innovative solutions for the Rates Trading desks, contributing to solutions for diverse asset classes within a Tier 1 investment bank, and collaborating with a talented global team serving clients in over 70 countries.

Job Responsibility:

Take ownership of a portfolio of C# (and some F#) software components
Lead a team of experienced developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
Collaborate with other team leads and component owners to deliver new features and enhancements
Work with the planning team to estimate and communicate delivery timelines for business requests
Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the components and services under your ownership
Continuously improve, design, and maintain owned components, ensuring high quality and performance
Drive technical discussions and decisions, influencing the direction of our technology stack
Promote best practices in software development, including coding standards, testing, and documentation

Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of experience developing .NET applications with a strong understanding of design patterns
Proven experience in a technical leadership role, mentoring and guiding development teams
Strong proficiency in .NET Core and Linux environments
Experience managing and planning feature deliveries using Agile methodologies (Scrum)
Experience with database and object storage technologies (MSSQL, MongoDB, S3, KDB)
Familiarity with messaging and event streaming technologies (RabbitMQ, TIBCO EMS, Kafka)
Proficiency with task management and resource allocation tools (Jira)
Experience with code management and version control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket)
