Job Description:

The Airbus Information Management (IM) function is seeking a skilled SAP BASIS & ABAP Technology Analyst to join our dynamic and innovative team. In this role, you will act as an expert in SAP BASIS and ABAP technologies, playing a pivotal role in shaping and sustaining Airbus’ SAP landscape. You will apply industry best practices to design, deliver, and maintain robust, high-quality technical solutions that support business-critical processes. Your responsibilities will include deep technical analysis, root cause investigation, and system performance optimization, ensuring stability, scalability, and continuous improvement across the SAP environment. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the reliability and evolution of Airbus’ enterprise systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operating & Monitoring a global landscape of SAP Interface
  • Leveraging the technologies to ensure best fit implementation of the business expectations
  • Challenging and advising the business owners to ensure consistency, operability and maintainability of the overall system
  • Designing integrations in line with the global strategy
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance SAP solutions with a focus on quality, performance, and maintainability
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and stability of SAP systems
  • Proactively monitor systems and perform root cause analysis for incidents and performance issues
  • Understand the end to end life cycle of the project
  • Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently
  • Develop technical documentation and presentations for projects and internal teams
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless end-to-end project delivery

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP, BASIS
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP ABAP
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP BASIS
  • Strong hands-on experience in ABAP development, including Reports, Module Pool programming, Interfaces, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, BAdIs, and Object-Oriented ABAP
  • Proven expertise in ALE/IDocs, Web Dynpro, Adobe Forms, OData services, and SAP Workflows
  • Support SAP system copies, system refreshes, and client administration across development, quality, and production environments
  • Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot the Transport Management System (STMS) to ensure smooth and controlled transport flows
  • Conduct performance tuning and system optimization, including workload analysis, memory management, and proactive monitoring
  • Demonstrate understanding of SAP HANA architecture, including administration, monitoring, and migration activities
  • Provide hands-on support for SAP S/4HANA system administration, including upgrades, patching, and ongoing system maintenance
  • Implement and manage SAP Notes, including prerequisite checks, conflict resolution, and post-implementation validation
  • Support SAP kernel upgrades, Support Package / Enhancement Package implementations, and system patching activities
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Participate in cutover planning, go-live support, and production stabilization activities
  • Maintain technical documentation
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams
