Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician - Spool to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting spool machinery in our manufacturing facility.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate and monitor spool winding equipment to ensure efficient and accurate production
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on spool machinery to minimise downtime
  • Set up and adjust machines according to product specifications and production schedules
  • Inspect finished spools for quality and adherence to specifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with spool equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and quality control activities
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimise production processes
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in spool operation and maintenance
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with various types of spools and winding equipment
  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational training in mechanical or industrial technology (preferred)
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Industrial Machinery Operation) are advantageous
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials handling
  • Willingness to work in Phu Quoc, Vietnam
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Nice to have:

  • Vocational training in mechanical or industrial technology (preferred)
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Industrial Machinery Operation) are advantageous
