Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and efficient Technician - Kitchen & Laundry to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing kitchen and laundry equipment in our hospitality facility, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform regular maintenance checks on kitchen and laundry equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operation
  • Diagnose and repair faults in various appliances, including ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, washing machines, and dryers
  • Install new kitchen and laundry equipment as required
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure all equipment meets health and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts
  • Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and minimise equipment downtime
  • Collaborate with kitchen and laundry staff to address their equipment-related concerns
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and maintenance techniques in kitchen and laundry equipment
  • Adhere to local regulations and standards specific to Phu Quoc, Vietnam

Requirements:

  • Vocational training or technical diploma in appliance repair or a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in kitchen and laundry equipment maintenance, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Proficiency in maintaining and repairing a wide range of kitchen and laundry equipment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting
  • Understanding of hospitality industry standards and practices
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to kitchen and laundry operations
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on efficiency and organisation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
