Job Description:

Empowering the Future of Mobility: Join Powerdot’s Innovative Team. Charging your car should feel as natural as charging your phone. That’s the future we’re building: a network of EV chargers where life happens. We don’t just install chargers. We accelerate sustainable mobility. We obsess over partnerships. We grow relentlessly:our network, our partners, ourselves. If you’re here, you’re probably not looking for “just a job.” Neither are we. 😎 We’re driven by impact, and always looking for people who thrive on turning bold ideas into reality. If that sounds like you, you’ll feel at home here. We’re looking for people who see challenges as puzzles, not problems, thrive in fast-growing, high-energy environments, want to shape the future of mobility, not just watch it unfold. At Powerdot, you’ll get freedom, ownership, and responsibility. The space to experiment. The chance to scale your ideas. And a team that’s always pushing the edge of what’s possible.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide real-time technical support to field technicians during on-site interventions (hardware, firmware, or any other topic network-related)

  • Monitor charger health and performance remotely, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively
  • Create and maintain clear, standardized service and troubleshooting guides
  • Document intervention procedures, best practices, and common fault patterns
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to update documentation following firmware or hardware changes
  • Ensure that internal and external documentation (manuals, FAQs, training material) remains accurate and up to date
  • Act as a central point between field teams and product/engineering
  • Record and report recurring issues to help improve system reliability and training materials
  • Contribute to the development of internal troubleshooting tools and databases

Requirements:

  • Technical background in electrical, electronic, or IT systems (degree or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in remote technical support and the EV charging industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese
  • Ability to work collaboratively with distributed teams
  • Familiarity with OCPP, network diagnostics, and field operations tools
  • Based in Porto
What we offer:
  • Private health insurance coverage
  • Gym membership
  • Flexible working hours
  • Annual offsite
  • Regular team-building events
  • English Training
  • Free office snacks and unlimited coffee
  • Meal allowance for every worked day
  • Special discounts for charging your electric vehicle
