Technical Support Specialist

• Provide hardware support for PCs, laptops, printers, servers, and audio/visual equipment
• troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows XP/7 operating systems
• assist with Active Directory and Group Policy configurations and management
• diagnose and address network-related problems to ensure seamless connectivity
• offer end-user training on IT applications and systems to enhance user proficiency
• document technical issues and resolutions thoroughly for future reference
• support and troubleshoot Microsoft Office applications to address user concerns
• utilize certifications like A+, Net+, Security+, or others to enhance technical support capabilities
• collaborate with team members to maintain and improve system performance
• contribute to configuration management and ensure compliance with IT standards.

• Minimum of a 2-year technical degree or equivalent relevant experience
• proficiency in troubleshooting hardware for PCs, printers, laptops, and servers
• strong experience with Windows XP/7 operating systems and related troubleshooting
• familiarity with Active Directory and Group Policy management
• solid understanding of network troubleshooting and problem resolution
• certifications such as A+, Net+, Security+, Microsoft, or Apple certifications are preferred
• excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with end users
• strong documentation skills for recording technical issues and solutions.
