Deepija Telecom Pvt. Ltd. is seeking for skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and resolving issues related to Windows and Linux operating systems. You will work closely with customers to understand their concerns and provide timely and effective solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross functional teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
Job Responsibility:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers via various channels (phone, email, chat, etc.) related to Windows and Linux operating systems
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on Windows and Linux platforms
Assist customers with software installations, configurations, and upgrades
Identify and document customer issues, inquiries, and resolutions in a detailed and accurate manner
Collaborate with internal teams, including developers and system administrators, to escalate and resolve complex technical problems
Continuously expand knowledge and expertise in Windows and Linux systems to effectively support customer needs
Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and FAQs for customer reference
Provide training and guidance to customers on Windows and Linux best practices and troubleshooting techniques
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Solid experience in providing technical support for Windows and Linux operating systems
Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Windows and Linux platforms
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and administration
Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively
Nice to have:
Relevant certifications (such as MCSE, and RHCE) would be a plus
