Beacon Hill is partnering with a well-established, engineering-focused organization to hire a Technical Recruiter on a contract-to-hire basis. This fully onsite role will support the recruitment of highly skilled technical professionals, with a strong emphasis on proactive sourcing, relationship-building, and culture alignment.
Job Responsibility:
Source Technical Talent: Proactively identify qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, professional associations, and niche engineering platforms
Evaluate Candidates: Review resumes and conduct phone and virtual screenings to assess technical experience, career alignment, and cultural fit
Manage Interview Logistics: Coordinate interview schedules, confirm availability, and act as the main point of contact between candidates and hiring leaders
Guide Candidates Through the Process: Provide a high-touch candidate experience by sharing status updates, setting expectations, and answering questions throughout the hiring lifecycle
Represent the Organization: Serve as a brand ambassador by delivering a professional, engaging, and consistent recruiting experience
Support Hiring Transitions: Partner with HR to assist with onboarding activities and ensure new hires are set up for success
Monitor Recruiting Activity: Maintain accurate documentation in the ATS and report on recruiting progress, pipelines, and outcomes
Develop Talent Pipelines: Build and nurture long-term candidate relationships to support ongoing and future engineering hiring needs
Ensure Compliance: Follow all applicable employment laws, internal policies, and recruiting best practices
Assist with HR Initiatives: Provide additional support on recruiting-related HR tasks as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
2+ years of recruiting and sourcing experience, preferably in technical or engineering environments
Demonstrated success sourcing experienced engineers for hard-to-fill roles
Strong understanding of business needs and how talent acquisition supports organizational goals
Hands-on experience with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern sourcing tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills
Proven discretion when handling confidential information
Nice to have:
Familiarity with international hiring, including visa and H-1B sponsorship processes
