We are looking for an Engineering Recruiter to join our Talent team in India. In this role, you will report directly to the Recruiting Lead and play a critical role in scaling Firebolt’s global Engineering organization. This is an ideal role for a hands-on technical recruiter who enjoys partnering closely with Engineering leaders, sourcing top-tier talent, and operating in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment. You will own searches end to end and help shape how we hire engineers as we continue to scale.
Job Responsibility:
Own full-cycle recruiting for Engineering roles across Backend, Data, Infrastructure, and related technical domains
Partner closely with Hiring Managers and Engineering leadership to deeply understand role requirements, team needs, and hiring priorities
Proactively source and engage high-quality technical candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, boolean search, referrals, and other creative sourcing strategies
Conduct recruiter screens to assess technical background, motivation, and role fit
Manage candidate pipelines, interview coordination, and feedback loops to ensure an excellent candidate experience
Collaborate with global Talent and People partners to align on hiring plans, process improvements, and hiring best practices
Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the ATS and recruiting systems
Contribute to process optimization, market insights, and talent strategy as the team grows
Requirements:
2–5+ years of experience as a Technical or Engineering Recruiter, ideally with agency background, with a strong focus on software engineering roles
Demonstrated experience recruiting engineers in competitive markets, ideally for product or infrastructure-focused companies
Strong sourcing skills, including boolean search and proactive outbound candidate engagement
Ability to partner effectively with technical stakeholders and build trust with Engineering leaders
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and adapting as hiring priorities evolve
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
Comfortable being in the office several days per week
