Job Description:

As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a key role driving huge projects that span the technology and business organizations. You will be accountable for the planning, execution, and delivery of projects from inception to completion. This role involves orchestrating multiple teams, ensuring dependency coverage, resolving blockers, and delivering business value through data and analytics platforms.

Job Responsibility:

Orchestrating the work of 3-5 Consumer Data Platform scrum teams
Partnering with product owners to ensure the team understands the work and value to the organization
Partnering with engineering leads to explore tradeoffs of solution options, align on solution architecture, and break down engineering work
Creating achievable plans based on engineering work and dependencies
Orchestrating execution across multiple sprints to deliver features on time and under budget
Acting as scrum master leader for the teams, owning Agile planning and execution of sprints
Ensuring solutions/software built is compliant with agreed SDLC process artifacts
Keeping technical debt in check and driving necessary changes for the development community
Cultivating operational excellence within teams
Insisting on timely resolution of production defects
Operating successfully in ambiguous environments
Communicating upward and outward verbally and in writing
Continuously learning business models, engineering practices, or data technology platforms

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (preferably computer science) or equivalent experience
10+ years of software engineering, data engineering, data analytics, or business intelligence development experience
5+ years of project/program management experience working directly with data and analytics technical teams
Very strong experience in planning, estimating and execution using lean-agile techniques
Strong knowledge of Jira and Confluence
Good understanding of one or more data and cloud platforms – Big Data/Hadoop/Spark, Data Warehouse, Data Lakes, Tableau, data ingestion tools like Abnitio and cloud technologies like Snowflake, AWS
Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience working with technical management teams
Strong organizational and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities
Ability to motivate and drive collaborative effort to reach challenging goals
Strong interpersonal skills, including relationship building within a diverse, cross-functional team
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations
