Job Description:

Our Technical Operations team is looking for a Technical Program Manager to support our Distributed Energy Resource (DER) partners as they integrate with our platform, including managing launches, and facilitating post-launch partner support systems. This Program Manager will establish and deliver onboarding content, develop and own project progress tracking methods, manage post-integration support to scalably interact with our partners, and facilitate new product requests that increase the impact of these ecosystem partners.

Job Responsibility:

  • Interface with our DER device partners as they integrate against our APIs
  • Work with device partner stakeholders to communicate implementation requirements, related technical documentation, identify risks, manage and monitor project schedules
  • Create, manage, and deliver implementation content for partners
  • Own the triage process for partner issues and bugs
  • Coordinate with the product, partner, customer success, and engineering teams to represent and help shepherd new partner-related product capabilities
  • Monitor the progress of partners to ensure they move through our process
  • Facilitate a system for how technical specs are maintained and delivered to partners

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience leading large cross-team initiatives
  • A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and related technologies
  • Experience working in a consulting environment, or otherwise experience coordinating with third-party business and technical teams
  • The ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineering teams
  • Proven experience building new processes and rolling them out to teams and departments
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders of all levels
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders

Nice to have:

A working knowledge of the Utilities industry and/or relevant device manufacturers (Thermostat, Battery, EV, etc) and supporting business processes
