Job Description:

We are looking for a driven Technical Manager who focuses on long-term solutions and coaching a dynamic team. As a leader within our organization, you will be responsible for managing the 25-member Technical Department, with direct responsibility for four key roles: Maintenance Manager, Process & Automation Manager, Project & Process Manager, and Safety Manager. In an environment where trust and collaboration are at the core, you will be the person to optimize technical processes while inspiring people to grow together.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the 25-member Technical Department, with direct management of four department heads
coach and develop your team, focusing on growth and collaboration
monitor the maintenance and capex budget and oversee operational KPIs
identify training needs and implement long-term strategies for the department
optimize technical processes and maintenance policies, with an emphasis on efficiency and innovation
actively contribute to the company’s strategic goals and report to the Technical Managing Director/Plant Manager

Requirements:

5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a technical leadership role
a technical degree, such as in engineering, electromechanics, or a similar field
strong communication skills: able to communicate clearly, constructively, and openly
people skills: you have a talent for coaching, connecting, and motivating others
analytical mindset: able to view complex situations from a bird’s-eye perspective and prioritize effectively
decisiveness and excellent problem-solving skills
a proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement
proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
experience in budget management and monitoring KPIs
flexibility and the ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment
