Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic DV cleared Technical Lead to shape and direct technical initiatives across multiple programmes. In this vital role, you will ensure our solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with both business goals and cross-domain strategies. You will lead architecture and integration efforts, mentor development teams, and act as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic thinking to deliver secure, high-quality outcomes across complex environments

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the design and architecture of complex, multi-domain systems
  • Define and own integration and architectural strategies across various platforms
  • Design and oversee Java/Spring Boot microservices solutions
  • Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements such as security, performance, and scalability
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams
  • Serve as a senior technical point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with delivery, product, and security teams to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience designing architecture in complex, distributed environments
  • Proven ability to develop and scale Java/Spring Boot microservices
  • Experience integrating disparate systems across multiple domains
  • Confidently engaging with both technical and non-technical senior stakeholders
  • Skilled at translating business needs into clear technical strategies

Nice to have:

  • Experience working within the public sector or highly regulated environments
  • Exposure to cloud-native architectures and modern DevOps practices
  • Prior experience working on secure or high-assurance programmes
