Your contributions will be vital in guiding users through product installation, operation, and maintenance, solidifying our client’s reputation for excellence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review and meticulously edit technical content for various products, including installation guides, user manuals, service instructions, labels, packaging, and animated content
  • Champion and implement best practices for technical communication, setting standards and refining processes to elevate content quality across all publications
  • Drive projects related to technical content development, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, legal, and digital communications associates
  • Execute projects independently, demonstrating strong initiative and ownership from conception to completion
  • Manage complex projects with agility, skillfully adapting to evolving priorities and project requirements

Requirements:

  • Exceptional fluency in English, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proven experience in editing technical content, ensuring impeccable clarity, punctuation, grammar, and adherence to style guides
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide constructive and effective feedback
  • Demonstrated experience in editing for content models and maintaining rigorous quality standards
  • Superior writing and editing capabilities
  • Unwavering attention to detail
  • A track record of strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis
  • The ability to execute projects independently and a self-motivated approach to work
  • Robust project management skills
  • Familiarity with recognized style guides such as the Chicago Manual of Style or Gregg Reference Manual
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Technical Communications, or equivalent industry experience of at least 4 years
  • A minimum of 4 years of writing and/or editing experience specifically for product or software documentation
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, diagnostic skills, and the ability to accurately interpret technical drawings
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet applications
  • Strong computer aptitude, coupled with proven writing and/or editing abilities
  • Excellent visualization skills, enabling the translation between two- and three-dimensional data views
