Job Description:

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities, contributing to the establishment and implementation of application systems and programs. The role requires operating with limited supervision and acting as a subject matter expert while ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Job Responsibility:

conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, IT planning, and applications development
monitor and control development phases including design, construction, testing, and implementation
provide user and operational support
analyze complex problems/issues
recommend and develop security measures during post-implementation
consult with users and recommend advanced programming solutions
act as SME and advisor
assess risks while considering compliance and reputation

Requirements:

5-8 years of relevant experience
experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
experience in managing and implementing successful projects
working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
knowledge of Java, JavaScript, XML
experience with relational databases (SQL, Oracle, DB2)
familiarity with application server administration (WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss)
familiarity with SOA concepts and web services (SOAP/REST)

experience in enterprise content management systems
