“CHECK24 – here I compare everything!” – In the insurance sector this promise is fulfilled with our “Insurance Platform” for niche and small insurance products, which enables CHECK24 to quickly launch and operate a price and tariff comparison for even tiny insurances like e-scooter-insurance or insurances for electronics and mobile phones. Job Responsibility:

Leading the Team: Technical and disciplinary leadership of a motivated team of international developers
Product Development: Driving the development of our “Insurance Platform” as part of our dedicated development team
Hands-on: Create new features and business models with fast and agile dev processes while working in close cooperation with our product managers and quality assurance team
IT development: You help us take our Node.js based micro-services and TypeScript / React Frontends to the next level
Strategy: You will scout and implement new technologies which will make our products better and our development processes faster and more efficient

Requirements:

Solid JavaScript expertise: Several years of experience in JavaScript or TypeScript web platforms through applying SOLID and KISS principles consistently
Experience and leadership skills: At least 2 years of professional experience as a senior Developer (m/f/d) or in a leadership role
Technological versatility: Comprehensive knowledge in one or more areas (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, REST APIs, databases, software architecture, web development as well as build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Git or Gradle)
Language Skills: Fluent English (C1) and good knowledge of German (B1)
