As a manager in this division, you will actively coordinate the provision and operation of modern end devices such as notebooks, tablets and PCs, and ensure reliable and secure working of our colleagues around the clock. In times of rapid technological advancement and growing requirements for IT security and user-friendliness, you have a direct influence on how efficient and future-proof our IT services are.
Job Responsibility:
Lead a team in terms of professionalism and discipline
Develop colleagues in accordance with global ASML guidelines
Plan, control and prioritize IT end-user support tasks
Assign and process tickets in 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support
Install, configure and maintain client systems
Carry out simple active directory administration tasks (password reset, user administration)
Train new employees in IT end-user support
Be available as central point of contact
Administrate VDI/Citrix environments, networks and switches
Solve technical challenges independently
Coordinate external service providers and suppliers
Be responsible for contract and license management
Supervise IT projects in area of special hardware and client systems
Create and maintain documentation and guidelines
Coordinate processes with global ASML end-user service and locally integrate them
Requirements:
Degree in computer science, business informatics or equivalent qualification
Many years of professional experience (alternative to degree)
Proven experience in IT helpdesk or end-user services
In-depth knowledge of installation, configuration and analysis of IT systems
Very familiar with Windows operating systems and peripheral/client hardware
In-depth knowledge of end-user system infrastructure (networking, IT security, cloud computing)
Knowledge of data protection and relevant regulations such as GDPR
Fluent in spoken and written English and German
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills
Solution-oriented and decisive work style
High level of personal responsibility and self-discipline
Good feel for process optimization
