Job Description:

The project is a greenfield initiative in the mortgage domain focused on building a modern, scalable platform that integrates AI-driven decision-making, high-throughput data processing, and robust backend services. The system will manage end-to-end workflows related to loan processing and customer engagement, integrating with both internal and external APIs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot
  • Work within a microservices architecture, ensuring system stability and performance
  • Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and service integrations
  • Lead a team, managing workload, priorities, and task assignment
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team, including mentoring and knowledge sharing
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions when required
  • Collaborate with architects, QA, and stakeholders to align on technical and delivery goals
  • Remain hands-on with development while balancing Team Lead responsibilities

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of backend development experience with Java
  • Strong proficiency in Java 17+ and Spring Boot (3.x)
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases (Firestore or similar)
  • Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and/or RabbitMQ
  • Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
  • Cloud experience with GCP (or other cloud providers) is a plus
  • Ability to lead team workload, priorities, and task distribution
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
