Job Description:

We are working with 4 Merton Primary Schools who are looking for x8 Teaching Assistants to join their friendly, supportive and hard-working existing team. This is a long-term opportunity starting in September 2025, working full-time throughout the academic year. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support children across key stages, run small group sessions, and assist students with additional needs (SEN). The schools focus on community, welfare, and mental well-being. Ideal for aspiring primary teachers, with an opportunity for salaried teacher training from September 2026.

Job Responsibility:

Provide support to pupils across EYFS & KS1 & KS2
work with groups of children to carry out valuable interventions
assist with students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Speech and Language issues
use your creativity and imagination to excite the pupils

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children – in any capacity
a passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for children to flourish within
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities
