Job Description:

Make a real difference supporting young people with special educational needs in a supportive and rewarding environment. Own transport essential. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students, providing individual and group support tailored to their specific needs. You will assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, creating a positive learning environment, and celebrating student successes. You will be a key member of the team, contributing to the overall well-being and academic progress of the students.

Job Responsibility:

Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons
Providing individual and group support to students with SEN
Creating and implementing engaging learning activities
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback
Building positive relationships with students and their families
Contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

Proven experience supporting young people with SEN
Experience working in a school setting (desirable)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Ability to work as part of a team
Commitment to inclusive education
A valid driving license and access to your own vehicle
Enhanced DBS check (will be processed upon offer)
Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
Passion for making a difference in the lives of young people
