Job Responsibility:

Helping students understand difficult topics in small groups
Providing one-on-one support for students with specific learning needs
Keeping students focused and motivated during their lessons
Supporting students who have English as an additional language (EAL)
Helping the teacher manage classroom behaviour in a calm way
Making sure all students feel safe and supported in school
Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and materials

Requirements:

Communication: Being able to talk to teenagers in a way they understand
Patience: Staying calm when helping students who find work challenging
Flexibility: Being happy to help in different subjects like Maths, English, or PE
Reliability: Being a consistent and trusted face for the students
Experience with young people (coaching, youth work, or tutoring) is a plus
