Job Description:

We are looking for teaching assistants across London to work on a full-time and supply basis in a range of London primary schools for the summer term. We have Teaching Assistant opportunities across all primary age groups (EYFS/KS1/KS2).

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting children and teachers in a variety of ways
  • In early years: support children with play based learning, early reading and phonics, learning numbers and letters
  • In primary age groups: support children to access learning activities across English, Maths and various other subjects
  • For SEND roles: building relationships with specific child/children, adjusting activities, helping them to focus in class and work with other children
  • Work full school day (8.30am to 4.00pm approx)

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children
  • Enhanced DBS certificate
  • 2 references covering the past two years
  • Caring, dedicated and professional approach to working with young children

Nice to have:

Understanding of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
