Job Description:

At EdEx we are working with a fantastic Primary School based in Waltham Forest who are looking for Creative Graduates – Unqualified Teaching Assistants to join their team in September 2025. This role involves supporting the classroom teacher, preparing materials, holding interventions, and promoting a fun and educational environment for the pupils. The school has modern facilities, a creative ethos, and excellent professional development opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

Fulfilling Teaching Assistant duties across all year groups (EYFS/KS1/KS2)
holding 1:1 and group interventions for core subjects (English & Mathematics)
providing additional support for SEN pupils (ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia etc)
preparing materials for classes
maintaining a safe classroom
promoting a fun environment for the pupils to learn within

Requirements:

Drive and passion for working in education
creative and innovative thinking pattern that is adaptable to the pupil’s needs
previous experience working with children
SEN experience/knowledge is desirable but not necessary
hold a creative degree (Music, Arts, Drama etc)
