Job Description:

We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support secondary-aged students at a specialist SEMH school in Horsham. This role involves providing consistent, individualised support within a structured and nurturing environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting students with SEMH needs in and out of the classroom
  • Promoting positive behaviour, wellbeing, and engagement
  • Working closely with teaching and support staff
  • Following safeguarding procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • Must be able to drive (rural location)
  • Experience with SEMH or behavioural needs (preferred)
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Confidence around safeguarding and student wellbeing
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS

Nice to have:
