Job Description:

Teaching Assistant with HLTA Training. Are you an empathetic Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your career? This is a unique opportunity to join a supportive team in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting, with a clear path to becoming a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). We're looking for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young learners. This is an urgent, high-priority role, and we are looking for a dedicated professional to start as soon as possible.

Job Responsibility:

Providing individualised academic and emotional support to pupils
Assisting with lesson delivery and implementing positive behavioural strategies
Tracking pupil progress and celebrating their achievements
Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Maintaining open communication with parents, teachers, and other support staff
Participating in professional development to enhance your skills in child development and SEN

Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience in an SEN setting, whether professional or personal
A driver's licence and access to a vehicle are essential
A strong passion for supporting children with special needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/equivalent)
