Tax Senior

• Prepare and review detailed tax returns for individuals, corporations, and other entities across federal, state, and local jurisdictions
• Conduct in-depth tax planning and research to optimize efficiency and ensure compliance with evolving regulations
• Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and mitigate compliance risks
• Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete
• Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions in alignment with relevant accounting standards
• Monitor changes in tax laws and industry practices to provide informed recommendations and solutions
• Collaborate with departments such as finance, legal, and accounting to address tax-related issues effectively
• Mentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering their growth and development within the tax function
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of tax operations
• Provide senior leadership with regular updates on tax strategies, risks, and compliance matters

3+ years of experience in tax preparation, compliance, or advisory roles, ideally within public accounting or corporate tax
