Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and file highly complex tax returns for the organization
Lead and manage tax audits
Are an advisor to the company's global functions on tax matters
Advise businesses on how to reduce tax liabilities, set up compliance procedures, and communicates frequently with senior business leaders
Lead various tax planning activities and research including estimated tax forecasts and other projects that involve a high degree of complexity
Lead research and documents company-wide tax systems
Respond to notices from various tax authorities and interact directly with tax authorities on a regular basis
Interact and deal directly with external tax advisors to the company

Requirements:

First-level university degree or equivalent experience
advanced university degree preferred
Typically, 10+ years of related experience
Advanced knowledge of income tax laws they relate to corporations
Successful Tax Advisor Certificate ("Steuerberaterprüfung")
Superior communication, leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skills
Exceptional financial and business acumen
Excellent project management, problem solving, and analytical skills, and the ability to execute a project within the scope of overall strategies
Demonstrated ability in managing multiple projects and engagement teams
Business fluency in German and English language
