Job Description:

You will own and evolve the organization’s Tableau+ / Tableau Cloud environment, driving BI architecture, performance tuning, governance, and platform optimization. This role blends hands-on administration with forward-looking architecture work, partnering closely with cloud and data teams to build scalable analytics foundations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own Tableau+ / Tableau Cloud administration, standards, governance, and performance
  • Architect best practices for BI data modeling, ETL, and optimized analytics workflows
  • Partner with cloud/data architects (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) to design underlying data structures
  • Lead evaluation and integration of supporting BI technologies (Python/R integrations, APIs, Data Prep, Tableau Server/Cloud config)
  • Build scalable analytics workflows to support high growth and speed
  • Collaborate with peers to share technical knowledge and best practices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with Tableau / Tableau Cloud and related BI tools
  • Experience with Databricks and AWS
  • Expertise in greenfield Tableau+ Cloud implementations
  • Experience working in small, fast-paced teams

Nice to have:

  • Experience integrating Tableau with Python, R, APIs, or embedded analytics
  • Background in enterprise data or large-scale analytics rollouts
  • Data governance frameworks
  • Collibra exposure is a major plus
