Job Responsibility:
Conduct and Execute Audits: Perform audit work in accordance with established standards and execute end-to-end audits based on established plans
Risk Assessment: Develop or contribute to the audit planning process, ensuring appropriate risk assessments are completed, and leading the process to identify key risks and control gaps
Communication & Presentation: Manage ongoing communication with the client, present objective audit opinions, findings, and recommendations to clients and audit management
Follow-Up: Execute follow-up of findings raised from regulatory and internal divisional audits to ensure documentation is up-to-date
Process Improvement: Review and identify failures in internal processes, recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiencies
Subject Matter Expertise: Act as an audit subject matter expert, coaching and educating others when needed
Requirements:
5-7 years of overall experience
Degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Accounting
CISA or CISSP certification
Previous experience testing IT General Controls or Application Controls
Strong understanding of business/technology processes and operations, risk, change, and project methodologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Aptitude for exercising sound judgment
Ability to work collaboratively
Nice to have:
Banking industry experience
Expertise in using software tools, windows applications, data analysis, and reporting techniques
