Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Systems Analyst in Marana, Arizona. In this role, you will be essential in gathering business requirements, interfacing financial systems with other operational systems, and aiding in the implementation of new financial systems. You will also be expected to identify opportunities for process improvements and stay current on new platforms and tools.

Job Responsibility:

  • Translate business requirements into functional designs and solutions
  • Collaborate with various operational units, such as HRIS, work order management, and CRM to interface the financial systems
  • Facilitate the implementation of new financial systems and reporting to meet growing business needs
  • Identify and implement opportunities for system or process improvements
  • Develop and maintain stored procedures, packages, and other database components using PL/SQL
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application problems, data anomalies, and software bugs
  • Develop reports using Crystal, Jasper Reports, or explore new technologies for reporting
  • Work closely with the Senior Programmer/Technical Lead to troubleshoot performance issues and improve optimization
  • Monitor system, data, applications, processes, and user errors, taking corrective action where necessary
  • Stay updated with new platforms and tools to ensure business solutions are current and following best practices
  • Adhere to internal Quality Assurance protocols for managing custom software

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years programming experience
  • Previous ERP system interface experience for mid to large size organization
  • Minimum of 3 years supporting Accounting in similar role with focus on financial reporting
  • 5 years of experience developing reporting utilizing either Crystal Reports or Jasper Reports or recommend new technologies
  • Must have strong PL/SQL with Oracle back-end experience
  • Thorough understanding in analysis and design techniques
  • Highly motivated and driven with a sense of ownership
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work in a team environment
  • Candidate must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to organize and plan workload adhering to deadlines
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language
  • Ability to adjust to rapidly changing circumstances and priorities
  • Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math or related discipline or equivalent combination of education or experience required
