Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team on a contract basis, working onsite in Bloomfield, Connecticut. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration and a proven ability to work with various technologies.

Job Responsibility:

Administer and maintain system infrastructure, including networks, servers, and hardware
Perform regular system updates and ensure the security of IT environments
Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to Cisco, Citrix, and VMware technologies
Manage Active Directory and backup solutions to guarantee data integrity and accessibility
Oversee hybrid cloud environments and ensure seamless integration across platforms
Configure and manage firewalls to maintain network security and prevent unauthorized access
Optimize networking systems and infrastructure to ensure maximum performance
Collaborate with teams to implement AB testing and analyze cluster performance
Provide technical support for Windows 11 and other computer hardware
Document system changes and maintain detailed records of configurations

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems administration or related IT roles
Proficiency in Cisco, Citrix, and VMware technologies
Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and infrastructure management
Expertise in Active Directory and backup technologies
Familiarity with firewall technologies and networking protocols
Hands-on experience with computer hardware and Windows 11
Ability to manage and troubleshoot complex IT systems
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
