We are looking for a highly motivated problem solver to manage the day to day running of the councils’ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Job Responsibility:
Respond to and manage the ERP system support mailbox, ensuring that queries are dealt with and resolved in a timely manner
Provide customer service to colleagues across the Councils on the ERP system
Maintain, monitor and review system processes, interfaces and procedures
Support the development of the ERP system, covering purchase to pay (P2P), accounts payable, general ledger, accounts receivable, budget/forecasting and monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
Keep relevant practices, systems and financial procedures up to date and undertake checks to ensure they operate accurately and effectively
As required, support colleagues and work with relevant partners to ensure robust and accurate financial information
Requirements:
Experience of using financial systems (preferably Unit 4)
Working in a finance department
Good understanding of the financial and accounting environment
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Finance systems
