Job Description:

We are offering a contract for a System Analyst (C. Advanced) position based in Tallahassee, Florida. As a System Analyst, you will be tasked with providing technical guidance and expertise in developing Power BI dashboards, DAX, data mappings, and monitoring a high-volume of complex data processes.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI solutions, employing your expertise in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
Oversee the design of data models and relationships in Power BI to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis
Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards in Power BI that provide actionable insights to stakeholders
Develop complex DAX formulas to perform calculations, aggregations, time intelligence, and other data manipulations within Power BI
Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI, including databases, spreadsheets, cloud services, and APIs
Optimize Power BI reports and DAX calculations for improved performance and faster query response times
Select appropriate visualizations (e.g., charts, tables, maps, KPIs) to represent data effectively and enable users to gain insights quickly
Implement data security measures within Power BI to ensure that sensitive information is accessible only to authorized users
Adhere to data governance policies and regulations
Validate and cleanse data during the integration process to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other team members to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
Document data models, DAX formulas, and development processes for future reference and knowledge sharing
Identify and resolve issues related to data connections, DAX calculations, and report performance
Provide excellent customer support, maintaining meticulous quality of work, and work product

Requirements:

Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service
Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to effectively manage Documentation processes
Understanding of Policy and Quality standards
Experience with Database management
Knowledge of the software 'About Time'
Proven ability to Troubleshoot technical issues
Familiarity with Regulation in the IT sector
Proficiency in using Spreadsheets for data organization
Experience in Optimization and Data Analysis
Comfortable working with various Stakeholders
Understanding of Cloud Technologies
Experience with Monitoring Tools
Demonstrated ability to work in a Collaboration setting
Ability to create and interpret Charts and Graphs
Proficiency in writing SQL Queries
Experience with KPI Reporting
Proven ability to Resolve Issues in a timely manner
Ability to Perform Calculations related to system analysis
Experience Collaborating with various teams
Ability to Create Dashboards for data visualization
Experience with Interactive systems
Experience creating and implementing Validation Plans
