Working in leisure is anything but leisurely especially at Halo. We are on the lookout for two high energy Swimming Lesson Coordinators inspired by a fast-paced performance driven culture and someone who is passionate about our commitment to our social mission, at Bridgend Life Centre and Ynysawdre. This is a fantastic unique opportunity to support, design and deliver a comprehensive lesson programme, working with a well established swimming teacher team.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • Experience of developing and implementing lesson programmes that has led to financial improvements across a swim school
  • The ability to lead and motivate a team of swimming teachers
  • Knowledge of the Swim England teaching plan, good practice and delivery of current initiatives, systems and processes within the ASA and STA
  • A collaborative approach to influence and change ways of working which deliver customer focused results

  • To be responsible for the successful running of the Swimming Academy. This will involve all administration including enrolment, class programming and staffing
  • Line management of the team including recruitment, training and development, as well as rotas and payroll
  • To be responsible for ensuring an excellent level of teaching is delivered to customers
  • that is exciting and engaging activities and lessons are being delivered at all times
  • Ensure the classes and teaching are following the Swim England Learn to Swim framework
  • Develop and implement successful methods of communication across the wider Club team and between your team members and parents
  • In conjunction with the schools marketing team, develop internal and external marketing strategies for the swimming academy
  • To continue to support partnerships with Swim England and approved training providers to successfully offer CPD as appropriate
  • Manage the Swimming Academy budget
