Job Description:

Assistant Manager role for IKEA Swedish Food Market, Bistro, and Café in Pasay City, Philippines. Responsible for leading and managing the IKEA Food function to create positive customer experiences and drive sales.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage the IKEA Food function in the store
Look at the store through the eyes of customers and walk the store regularly
Have daily dialogue with customers to get continuous feedback and learn about their needs
Contribute to area's action plan by supporting manager in implementing it with the team
Work with manager to actively contribute and support relevant marketing and in-store activities
Ensure area is efficiently maintained, clean, organized, attractive and inviting
Create environment where IKEA culture is strong and living reality
Act in accordance with IKEA Sustainability Direction
Create awareness of IKEA Food as the most important in-store marketing tool

Requirements:

At least 3 years relevant experience in a leadership role managing a large team in a fast-paced food and/or retail environment
Experience working with a KPI-driven action plan
Knowledgeable in food safety (HACCP) guidelines
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to lead, train, influence and collaborate with others
Sales-driven and cost-conscious
Passionate about food and people
