Eurovia Surfacing is seeking a dedicated Surfacing Supervisor to lead operational delivery across surfacing contracts, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on supervisory role where you’ll play a key part in planning, programming, resourcing and managing on-site operations while driving commercial performance and maintaining strong client relationships.
Job Responsibility:
Plan, programme and resource surfacing works efficiently in line with contract requirements
Attend pre-site meetings, agree methods of working and develop collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders
Manage contract costs, monitor profitability and support the preparation of final accounts
Complete and submit accurate job costing information through Papyrus
Ensure Sector Scheme 16 compliance through regular audits and high standards on site
Lead safe working practices through toolbox talks, safety audits and promoting a strong safety culture
Complete and submit all required records, including laying records, inspections, defect reports and KPI information
Support continuous improvement using Eurovia’s IMS and The Way We Work (TWWW)
Monitor quality, provide aftercare and ensure work meets client expectations
Foster a positive team environment and provide active support to colleagues
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence
Good general education
Experience of civils or surfacing activities
Strong communication skills – written and verbal
Ability to work independently and manage resources effectively
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Competent IT skills (Microsoft Office)
Nice to have:
CSCS Manager card
NRSWA Supervisor
Frontline Supervisor programme
Knowledge of KHEOPS, SAP or similar cost systems
