Surfacing Operative

• Execute tasks as directed by the Foreperson, ensuring adherence to instructions
• Maintain, operate, and ensure the safety of all plant and equipment
• Keep personal protective equipment (PPE) in excellent condition
• Mentor and support less experienced operatives
• Maintain professional working practices and comply with company and safety procedures
• Report all accidents, incidents, and any concerns affecting quality and safety

• CSCS card and driving license preferred but not essential
• Keen interest in the construction materials industry and heavy mobile plant machinery operations
• A desire to learn and grow within the industry, with a focus on safety and quality
• Strong sense of teamwork and flexible approach to work
• Ability to complete tasks on time with pride in quality and attention to detail
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Not suitable for individuals who dislike travelling, working outdoors, or working during night-time
