Job Description:

Help enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalised care and support. As a Support Worker at Aruma, you will join a values-driven organisation that advocates for human rights and diversity, offering flexible work opportunities and various employee benefits.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering high-quality support services to customers with disabilities
assisting clients in their daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and skill development
promoting community integration and supporting clients in accessing social and recreational activities
collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans
encouraging independence and empowering clients to achieve their personal goals
advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities.

Requirements:

Full and flexible availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster that includes sleepovers, active nights, weekends, and public holidays
relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State)
passion for human rights and creating positive change
empathetic and compassionate
excellent communication skills
team player
willingness to collaborate.
